The suppling source of the images, as set up under "Cloud Settings", apparently does not permit this within a certain time span. It would be nice if CWC could detect this condition and not get "stuck", and perhaps also display a warning say, "You seem to be attempting to load cloud images on more than one machine sharing a common IP address. #WORLD CLOCK PRO ALTERNATIVES UPDATE#In the meantime, however, this program acts sluggish and the video overlay for the clouds partially displays a striped image from the last cloud update (but only in the "nighttime" portion of the map, at least on my systems with their various graphics drivers), and I get an "hourglass"/application busy cursor when hovering over the map (although I can still reposition the entire window). I did NOT get that response from that website when I used "Preview" on the first machine I installed this on. No doubt it keeps his bandwidth quota/costs down.) (A reasonable request, actually, since that particular website does not update the image more frequently than that anyway. Please do not attempt to download more frequently!" "Sorry, your IP address has already downloaded this image in the past 3 hours. However, this seems to have a minor issue when the "Show Clouds" feature is enabled, it is installed on more than one machine, and they all share the same IP address (say, via a shared home router).Īpparently the program tends to partially "hang" as it waits to get the new JPEG cloud image file however, as later seen using the "Preview" feature of the "WorldMap"/"Cloud Settings", the default web site used to supply the image is responding with: Overall the program works fine for normal use, even on a netbook - thank you!
